Riffel’s Camp & Float Adventures

1. Reservation Agreement


By completing a reservation with Riffel’s Camp & Float Adventures, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all campground rules, policies, and liability terms outlined on this page and throughout our website.

 

Management reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest without refund for violation of these policies.

2. General Campground Rules

  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout campground

  • Maximum 6 guests per campsite

  • Visitors must check in, pay required fee, and depart by 10:00 PM

  • No fireworks or discharging firearms permitted

  • No glass containers in creek areas

  • ATVs and UTVs permitted for transit only

  • Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the creek

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy


Standard Reservation Dates:

  • 30+ days before arrival: Full refund minus processing fees

  • 14–29 days before arrival: 50% refund

  • 0–13 days before arrival: No refund


Event & Holiday Dates:

  • No refunds within 30 days of arrival


No refunds for early departures.


Refunds will only be issued in full if the campground is officially closed due to flooding or unsafe conditions as determined by management.


Weather discomfort (rain, mud, heat, insects, wildlife, etc.) does not qualify for refund.

4. Pet Policy

  • Pet Fee: $10 per stay

  • Pets must be current on vaccinations, including rabies

  • Proof of vaccination may be required

  • Pets must be leashed (6 feet or less) outside of campsites

  • Pets may not be left unattended

  • Owners must clean up after pets immediately

  • Aggressive dogs are not permitted


Pet owners are fully responsible for any injury, damage, or disturbance caused by their animals. Management reserves the right to remove any pet deemed unsafe or disruptive without refund. Guests bringing pets must also complete our Pet Agreement Addendum.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability


Camping, creek access, tubing, and event attendance involve inherent risks including but not limited to:

  • Uneven terrain

  • Water hazards

  • Wildlife

  • Weather conditions

  • Alcohol-related incidents

  • Equipment use


By booking and entering the property, guests assume all risks associated with outdoor recreation. Guests release and hold harmless Two Buddies Wiser, LLC from liability for ordinary negligence to the fullest extent permitted under Kentucky law.


Venue for any dispute shall be Lewis County, Kentucky. All guests must complete the appropriate waiver(s) prior to participation in tubing, events, or overnight stays.

6. Policy Enforcement


Management reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service

  • Remove guests or pets

  • Terminate reservations without refund

  • Deny future bookings


Failure to comply with policies may result in immediate removal from the property.

7. Acceptance of Terms


By completing your reservation, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understand these Terms, Policies & Conditions

  • You agree to abide by all campground rules

  • You agree to complete required waivers

  • You accept financial responsibility for damages caused by you or members of your party
