Waivers & Releases

Riffel’s Camp & Float Adventures

To ensure the safety of our guests and to comply with insurance requirements, certain waivers and release agreements must be completed prior to participation in activities or overnight stays. Please review the information below carefully.
 

1. Master Liability Waiver (Required for All Guests)

All overnight guests and visitors entering the property must agree to our Master Liability Waiver.

Camping, creek access, and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks including:

  • Uneven terrain

  • Water hazards

  • Wildlife

  • Weather conditions

  • Alcohol-related incidents

  • Equipment use

By entering the property, guests acknowledge and assume these risks. This waiver releases Two Buddies Wiser, LLC from liability for ordinary negligence to the fullest extent permitted under Kentucky law. All adults in your party must complete this waiver.

2. Tubing / Float Waiver (Required for Float Participants)

Tubing and creek activities involve additional risks including:

  • Strong currents

  • Slippery surfaces

  • Water depth variations

  • Physical exertion

  • Weather-related changes

All float participants must complete a Tubing Waiver prior to launch. No exceptions.
 

3. Event Waiver (Required for Special Events)

Certain events may require a separate waiver due to:

  • Live entertainment

  • Alcohol service

  • Large crowds

  • Equipment setups

If you are attending a ticketed event, you may be required to complete an Event Waiver.

4. Pet Agreement Addendum (Required for Guests Bringing Pets)

Guests bringing pets onto the property must complete the Pet Agreement Addendum.

Pet owners acknowledge:

  • Responsibility for their animal’s behavior

  • Financial responsibility for damages

  • Immediate removal for aggressive behavior

Proof of rabies vaccination may be required.
 

Important Notice

Failure to complete required waivers may result in:

• Denied participation in activities
• Denied check-in
• Removal from property
• No refund

All waivers are legally binding agreements governed by Kentucky law. Venue for disputes shall be Lewis County, Kentucky.
